Celebrating World Tourism Day at Matsamo Lake Tourism Park: Tourism & Sustainable Transformation

On Friday, September 26, 2025, Matsamo Lake Tourism Park proudly hosted this year’s World Tourism Day celebrations, in partnership with Eswatini Tourism. The event was held under the global theme “Tourism & Sustainable Transformation,” highlighting the role of tourism as a powerful driver of positive change for communities, economies, and the environment.

The day brought together a diverse group of leaders, dignitaries, and stakeholders in the tourism sector. Among the distinguished guests were the Chairperson of the Tourism Board, the CEO of Eswatini Tourism, the KOBWA, the CEO of the Matsamo Trust, Member of Parliament, Eswatini Tourism employees, and community representatives.
